Our History, Mission, and Leadership
To be a mission-oriented organization committed to spiritual growth, discipleship, missions education, and leadership development among women, girls, and children in Baptist churches.
To see women, girls, and children fully equipped for service, living out the Great Commission, and transforming their communities through the love of Christ.
Since its inception, the Women's Missionary Union has been at the forefront of missions and evangelism within the Nigerian Baptist Convention.
We have grown from a small gathering of faithful women to a nationwide movement that impacts lives at the National, Conference, Association, and Local Church levels. Our legacy is built on prayer, giving, and going for missions.
